E.G. Impecc and Cleaning For A Reason Team Up To Clean Cancer Patients’ Homes.

Chambly, Quebec –October 2012 – There are millions of women who are suffer from cancer every year. Many of them do not have the strength to even lift a mop, let alone clean their entire house. E.G. Impecc has joined Cleaning For A Reason to help clean houses for women undergoing treatment for cancer. A clean environment has been shown to positively affect a cancer patient’s recovery.

Cleaning For A Reason actively recruits cleaning services to clean homes for women undergoing treatment for cancer. Since 2011, Cleaning For A Reason has grown from 800 partners to over 1,000 partnered maid services. Cleaning For A Reason has donated $1.3 million worth of cleanings to more than 4,600 women over the past two years. Since Cleaning For A Reason’s founding in 2006, cleaning services that have joined Cleaning For A Reason have donated over $2.9 million in free services to more than 10,000 women with cancer. It is with pleasure that E.G. Impecc is announcing today a partnership with Cleaning For A Reason. This gives us a framework to offer free home cleanings to breast cancer patients.

The organization was created in 2006 by Debbie Sardone to help women with breast cancer. Now, the organization is present both in the US and Canada and has helped more than 9000 women with breast cancer. This translates into more than a million dollars worth of cleaning.

To sign up, you need to fill in the form by clicking here. As a patient, you get four free cleanings over the course of two months.

In the province of Quebec, there are only two cleaning companies associated with the program: Multi-Menage in St-Jerome and E.G. Impecc in the Greater Montreal Area. If you know any maids service or cleaning company, you can tell them about this opportunity to give back to the community. This would expand the territory being served.
