Things to Consider When Hiring a House Cleaner
Here is another interesting blog article, this time from our friends at Merchant Circle about what factors you should take into account when you hire someone to clean your house. It is really a GREAT read and I would suggest that anyone that is planning on booking with us or any other company to check out this article.
One point that I’d like to stress out is the difference of working with a company vs an individual cleaner. If you find a good individual cleaner, you will get a stellar, personal service. It will be very flexible and probably cheaper than working with most companies. The problem lies in finding the good cleaner. If you’ve ever been in a situation where you are hiring employees, you know how hard it is. This is where a cleaning company makes it easier for you. They have already done the background and criminal checks on the cleaners and usually have a pool of people to work with. For example, if your cleaner gets sick or is on vacation, they can send someone else who will be just as good, albeit less accustomed to your house.
Another advantage is that all cleaning companies that I know of are insured while very few independent contractors are. On this point, I would like to add that, if you are using and individual cleaner that you like, you can ask them to get liability insurance. It’s usually fairly cheap and could be beneficial for them. They can even use it as a extra benefit of working with them to get more customers.
